The 2008 Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute Invitational Golf Tournament is being held in memory of John A Warner, a charter committee member who remained active until his February passing.

Led by Committee Chairman Chris Taylor and an executive committee, Scripps Whittier's flagship event features an exciting day of golf followed by a reception, dinner and incredible auction. The silent and live auctions offer players and guests the opportunity to bid on a variety of items - including family, travel, golf, and romance packages. The Jessop Award, which honors an individual who has demonstrated exemplary citizenship and a significant contribution to the fight against diabetes will be presented. 

Proceeds will benefit local patients through Scripps Whittier's patient education program, one of the largest in the nation, and efforts to find a cure for diabetes.

$345,000 was raised last year -- we hope to beat that in 2008! Register today!
